Training and Lessons

Our Training Program.
We specialize in American Saddlebreds, Morgan Horses and Hackney Ponies, and welcome other breeds. We focus on riding or driving for pleasure or for show. Horses in training are treated as individuals. Challenging and upbeat routines are designed to keep their minds engaged. Focus is placed on keeping a positive work attitude so a true partnership can develop between the owner and the horse.

		Riding and driving instruction is available to children (5 years and up) and adults, from Beginner to advanced levels. Private lessons are offered, allowing Instructor/Owner, Diane Caverly, to tailor lessons to each individual whether the ultimate goal is for pleasure riding / driving or to take it to the show ring. Our students engage in a "hands on" approach that includes grooming and tacking up the lesson mounts. This allows for a bonding experience and a fuller appreciation of the horses. Horsemanship, safety and fun are all part of the learning experience
Lesson horses are selected for safety, versatility and show experience. .
